I am a Birth Doula and Homebirth Midwife's Assistant. I have been working in
the natural childbirth field since 1990.
I live and work in Western
Colorado helping couples give birth naturally either at home with a liscenced
midwife or in the hospital under the care of their physician.
I provide
continuous care during labor. Providing support for both the mother and father.
We work together on relaxation and position changes for optimum use of gravity
and your energy.
The care doesn't just start at the time of labor. I
provide care and counsel befor the onset of labor with private appointments to
work through relaxation and exercise techniques.
I have resources available
to educate couples on nutrition, relaxation and exercise. Together we study the
physiology of birth, so you know what your body is doing during the process of
your labor and birth.
