I have been a Doula for over ten years and have been blessed to have supported
over 500 wonderful families. I create personalized systems that support the
family based on their culture/ heritage, who they are, and their needs as
oppossed to imposing a foreign system or current baby / birth trend. I am a part
of a team, a guide through labor land. It is dads' first experience too and I
feel it is sometimes cruel to put dads to work as coaches unless that is their
preference. Then I work with dads who wish to coach and we build from there. I
doula the whole family.
Postpartum I often am employed to care for the
toddler as well as the newborn. I do drop in consultations 24 hours a day for
my clients with babies with Colic. I only take two births a month, and after
200 births I only had to call a back up in once, and that was for a 76 hour
