A doula is a labor support professional. I support a birthing woman and her
partner with physical, educational, emotional and family support. I work in all
birth settings: home, birth center and hospital. I have experience in all
Indianapolis area hospitals. My role is to support you to have a joyful birth
experience, no matter how you define it. Statistically, doulas reduce the use
of pain medication, vacuum or forcep birth, and c-section. The presence of a
doula reduces fear for a woman and her partner and shortens the length of labor.
I offer free, no obligation consultations.
