Jennifer Harris has been an LPN in women's health and a trained doula since
1997. She served as the Washington, and later, Colorado State Representative for
Doulas of North America (DONA) from 1998-2001.
She has supported birthing
women in homes, birth centers and hospitals and has experience with moms working
toward completely unmedicated, non-interventive births all the way through
highly medicalized births, including c-sections. Jennifer has attended over 50
births in California, Washington and Colorado, and works with families of any
type, as well as adoptive birth mothers.
As a Certified Hypnotist, she is
also happy to assist mothers using hypnosis for childbirth and fully supports
the belief that childbirth can be painless.
Services include two prenatal
visits, on-going telephone support, continuous labor support, breastfeeding
support and one post-partum visit. Belly casts, pregnancy or labor photography
and post-partum services are also available (as scheduling allows
