I do two pre-natal visits. This time is spent getting to know you and your
partner better. I ask more detailed questions regarding your pregnancy,
expectation of birth, and discuss any fears and concerns that may arise. I also
like to take this time to learn more about what your birth partner's needs are
and how to best support them. Please allow at least an hour and a half for each
visit. I also stay in touch with you by phone and am available to answer any
questions.
I stay with you throughout your labor and provide mental,
phsical, and emotional support that is needed until baby is born and the first
feeding has taken place.
There are two Post-Natal visits. I will set an
appointment to meet with you a few days after your birth, or when you arrive
home. We can discuss any concerns you may be having over baby care,
breastfeeding, or any resources that may be helpful to you. Our second visit
will be 3 weeks after baby�s birth, at which time we can review the birth, and
feedback can be given.
