In Bloom Birth Services provides birth doula services, early pregnancy
education, childbirth education, VBAC education, natural family planning
seminars, maternity, birth, and newborn photography services and creative birth
art to Jacksonville and Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and surrounding areas.
I have a deep desire and commitment to helping women and families create joyous
birth memories, no matter what kind of birth they are planning. My husband is a
pilot in the Marine Corps, which is what brought me to Jacksonville. Living in
a military community there is a great need for support among spouses (mostly
wives) during deployments and many, many women give birth while their husbands
are overseas. I provide birth doula services free of charge for military
dependents who are giving birth while their spouse is deployed. I hope to serve
women in my community by providing support and education during this amazing
time in their lives (pregnancy and birth).
