Susan Arthur is a certified Integral Yoga instructor who specializes in
prenatal, postpartum and restorative yoga. She has been teaching yoga since 1995
in settings ranging from gyms and hospitals to downtown conference rooms and the
elementary school in Yosemite National Park.
The long-time Mission resident
is also a birth and postpartum doula and childbirth educator. She serves as a
private doula for families in San Francisco and trains and mentors volunteer
birth and postpartum doulas at San Francisco General Hospital, the city's only
Baby Friendly hospital.
Susan encourages her clients to trust the innate
intelligence of their bodies, offering vital information that will empower them
to make informed choices during their pregnancies, in childbirth and when
parenting their babies.
