Comprehensive childbirth education classes including: Nutrition, Exercises to
Prepare for Birth, Comfort Measures for Pregnancy and Labor, Relaxation, The
Power of Positive Thinking, Gestation, Physiology of Birth (including First,
Second and Third Stages), Medications, Common Interventions, Cesarean Sections,
VBAC, Waterbirth, Choosing a Birthplace and Care Provider, Labor Support Options
(doulas), Birth Plans, Breastfeeding, Newborn Care, Postpartum Care, and much
much more! I really try to make the class fun and interesting with different
activities, games and videos. The class also includes an in depth labor
rehearsal.
Doula services are also available.
