Fertile Optimism

We are a certified birth doula, certified breastfeeding educator and natural reproductive health advocate that offers knowledge and understanding, delivering compassion coupled with emotional and physical support for the mother during labor, birth and postpartum.  We are educated under the midwifery model, receiving certifications from the Aviva Institute School of Midwifery. In addition to more than a decade of employment in the medical community we work as a weekend volunteer doula at Sutter Davis' Birthing Center where we delight in assisting women in their birthing experience# Our goal is to advocate healthy reproduction and support a memorable and treasured birth experience so that the mother may recall this time with feelings of fondness and love#
