Community Supported Agriculture is an innovative way to connect with a local
farm for fresh, nutritious, great tasting produce which has been grown without
synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. We focus on building soil with
composts, manures, cover crops and rotations, which in turn results in healthy
plants full of vitamins, minerals and health enhancing chemicals.
Households
purchase shares prior to the growing season. In return, Sunny Sky Farm provides
members with 21 consecutive weeks of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers
beginning in early June. Each weeks offerings are unique, determined by the
weather of the current season, the microclimate of the garden, and the
knowledge, skill, cultural techniques and planting schedules of the gardeners.
