A small organic farm just outside Fiddletown, CA, in historic goldrush and wine
country, operated by Alice Kaiser who grew up on the land. Sells produce at the
local farmers markets, to csa subscribers and to neighbors. Two bed and
breakfast rooms welcome visitors for overnight stays, with full breakfast made
with local produce, eggs, meats, homemade breads and jams. Dinners available for
additional charge for guests.
Interns are welcome, especially during spring and
summer months, for 2-4 week stays. In exchange for labor, room and board are
offered as well as an educational program on all aspects of running a small
farm.
