Pearly Gates Organic Soapery & Homestead is a small family owned business that has been farming organically since 1981 & making soaps/ bath care products since 1985. We have a limited number of CSA subscriptions available now For $770, half down when you sign up. For 22 weeks, you'll receive a generous portion of organic farm fresh produce, micro-greens, bath care product, and mixes, dehydrated or baked goods, herbal salts, jellies, & syrups from our farm. Pickup location is at our farm. We sell spring/summer plant starts, also. We received honorable mention in Robert Rodale's Organic Gardening Magazine Contest 1984; a host farm at growinggrowers.org, teaching organic gardening & am looking for gardening apprentices now; participate bi-annually in the KCCUA Farm & Garden Tour; a winner of A SARE grant in 2008; We teach many homesteading skills for a small fee, eg, soap /bath/body care making, butter making, culturing. ceramic hand building &/wheel throwing, macrame, raw food diet/ lifestyle and more.
