Canter Hill Farm is a family operation focused on raising healthy food for our
children and those in our community. We practice pasture rotation of our sheep,
turkeys, chickens, duck and guinea hens. Our lamb is 100% grass fed on our
untreated pastures. Our poultry serve to keep our pastures sheep-safe, and have
their grass diet supplemented by custom-milled organic feed. We are committed
to the humane treatment and processing of animals, and are a farm open to our
customers (who can see and be part of the process of raising food!)
We do not
use ANY chemicals, fertilizers, antibiotics, pesticides (or anything else that
falls in these categories). Rather, we find open air and natural pairings of
different types of animals mitigate the need for harmful chemicals.
