Featherstone Fruits & Vegetables is located in the spectacular bluff country of
Winona & Fillmore Counties. In 2009, we produced 80 acres of MOSA certified
organic produce (some in transition) for food co-ops and natural food stores
from the Twin Cities to Chicago and for a healthy 820-member CSA. The season
runs from June through October. We offer an amazing array of more than 40 types
of vegetables; including leaf lettuce, salad mix, heirloom tomatoes, asparagus,
broccoli, zucchini, cooking greens, onions, garlic, peppers, carrots, peas,
beans, sweet corn, potatoes and winter squash. We also provide strawberries,
raspberries, cantaloupes, and watermelons. In addition, we supply the boxes
with a variety of herbs; including basil, cilantro, parsley, and dill. In 2009
we will again offer a "Winter Share". These huge boxes will be filled to the
brim with an incredible variety of storage vegetables, hearty field crops like
kale, spinach, and broccoli, as well as some tender delicacies from the
greenhouse.
