A constantly evolving patch of the good Earth in Sherkston, Ontario, Fairwind
Farm offers a spring thru fall feast of organically grown produce, herbs,
heirloom tomato and pepper transplants, and fresh cut flowers. The vast
majority what we grow are heirlooms. We source our seeds from organic suppliers
the world over. Our produce can be purchased at our farmgate stand (Thursday
thru Sunday), through our small scale CSA, and at two local farmers markets
(Port Colborne Farmers' Market (Friday mornings, corner of Charlotte & Catherine
streets in Port Colborne, Ontario) and Ridgeway Farmers Market (Saturday
mornings, Ridge Road North at the Friendship Trail, Ridgeway, Ontario. New for
2010: trialing grain crops to be included in CSA shares; seed production for
select crops.
