Dennis McEndree grew up on his grandparent�s (Steve and Julia Katona�s) 50
acre farm in Marshallville, Ohio. From them he learned the basics of farming
and organic gardening and developed a commitment to healthy foods and a
balanced environment. He continues to work that land today and has been
certified for 14 years.
To become �Certified Organic�, a farm must be
chemical free for three years
and pass stringent standards set by the USDA,
NOSB and be certified by O.E.F.F.A. (Ohio Ecological Food & Farm
Association).
At Katona�s Country Garden ,�We have a strong belief
that organic farming allows produce to retain much more of it�s natural
nutrients and minerals. By feeding the soil with natural fertilizers and
organic matter the living microorganisms and antibiotics are preserved.
Our healthy 20 year old son, Nate, is a testimony to the benefits of eating
organically!
