Hilltop Farms is a 34 acre certified organic produce farm in in southern Wake
County. We have been in operation over ten years and provide for a 160 member
CSA (community supported agriculture). We also sell wholesale as a member of
Eastern Carolina Organics, LLC and through direct sales to Harmony Farms Natural
Food Store in Raleigh and several local restaurants. We sell at the Downtown
Raleigh Farmers Market meeting Wednesdays from 10 to 2 at City plaza in Raleigh
and the Western Wake Farmers market in Cary, both from May through Oct. We offer
general public sales at the farm on Saturdays Noon to 5:00 PM May to November.
We are the first and only certified orgainc farm in Wake Co. and have organic
pic-yer-own strawberries Saturdays in May. We also diversived into small grains
such as wheat and barley as we continue to convert this 250 year old family farm
from traditional tobacco and conventional farming methods to total organic!
