We have 100's of foods from every food group, goodies like dairy, eggs from
actually free-ranging chickens & geese, honey, mushrooms, fruit, nuts, & even
grass-raised meats. We have affordable prices, and also work-shares, and all
our products (yes, even honey) is available for pick your own.
We practice
natural agriculture and treat our animals with as much respect as we would a
human being. And we treat our human beings with the same respect we give
ourselves...
We are active in the community: we support the Meadowlark
project as the Meadowlark cooperative (meadowlarkcolorado@gmail.com) gives away
free land to help new farmers, we supply free seeds, chicks and even volunteer
to help break ground and fence. We donate quantities of food every year to the
poor and needy. We also offer free gardening & farming classes, including
instruction in the use of animals for draft power.
We compost our wastes &
what electricity we do use is from green sources. We're green as the grass in
spring!
