Flying Plow Farm grows organic vegetables and pastured poultry. We are a small,
diversified operation that grows on land leased from the historic Nanasau Farm,
adjacent to the Gunpowder Falls State Park and the historic Jerusalem Mill
Village.
What We Do
Flying Plow Farm grows organic vegetables year round. Our
produce is available for sale through our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture),
and our on-farm stand and winter market.
How We Do It:
We use sustainable
farming practices that incorporate aspects of organic and biodynamic farming.
Our goal is to produce local food for our region while caring for our land,
vegetables, animals and community. We strive to create a truly sustainable farm,
both agriculturally and financially.
Who We Are:
The farmers at Flying Plow
Farm, Sarah and Tom, have a combined 15 years of farming experience. Both are
dedicated to the craft and lifestyle of small scale agriculture.
