In an effort to provide healthy, organic food for our community, we have
launched a local CSA (community supported agriculture) program. An
organization run by a local mom, www.csacalifornia.com, is a great way to
support local farms and buy organic produce at a huge discount! Anyone can join!
This cooperative effort is essential to building community as well as connecting
with the planet and the seasons. CSA california supports The Ramirez farm of
Riverside as well as a few other local sustainable farms. We are also working
on developing school gardens. So eventually, the produce will come from our
kids!
