We are a small, sustainable family farm. Our goats browse on pasture, and eat
organically grown, non-GMO grain with no soy. We use organic growing practices
on our entire farm. Goats thrive on variety, and we encourage diversity our
pasture, and re-plant with Native species.
One Goatshare is $60 for a one
year lease, and $35/month to feed, board, milk, and care for your goat. Each
sharer receives the production of one goat for one day each week. Goatshare
goats produce at LEAST a gallon of milk a day – so you will be get 1 gallon (or
more) of raw milk per week, with a two month break during the last two months of
your goat's pregnancy, during which time you will continue to pay the boarding
fee - she still needs to eat! Our herd tested negative for CAE, Johnes, and TB.
We test milk monthly.
You can take part or all of your milk share in raw
Chevre, Feta or Yogurt for an additional labor fee.
