The Boyle Heights CSA provides weekly delivery of fresh, locally-grown, USDA
certified organic produce. Each weekly box contains an assortment of 12-15
vegetables grown in Bakersfield, California by the SCF Coop. The weekly harvest
is supplemented by pesticide-free fruits, vegetables, and fresh culinary &
medicinal herbs grown at Proyecto Jardin, our own community garden in Boyle
Heights.
Two membership plans are available. Plan A is $25/week due 7 days
prior to deliver. Plan B is available only for garden volunteers who volunteer a
minimum of 2 hours per week in the garden.
Individuals who pay the entire
season in advance receive a $15 Garden Gift Card good for additional items
available at Proyecto Jardin, including seeds, nursery plants and vegetable
starters, additional fruits and vegetables, and culinary/medicinal herbs.
Winter Season stretches from January 12 to March 2, 2011.
