Radix Farm's mission is to use sustainable farming practices to grow healthy and
delicious produce for folks in the Washington, DC area. At Radix Farm,
sustainability means treating the entire farm environment with care and respect
- the ecosystem, the growers, and our customers.
We are located in Upper
Marlboro, Maryland just outside the capital beltway in Prince Georges County,
less than 15 miles from Washington, DC. We grow two acres of diversified
produce without the use of synthetic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, or
genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
Radix Farm will have approximately
40 CSA shares available for the 2011 season. Shares cost $625, which includes
delivery to a drop-off points in Mt. Pleasant or Capitol Hill. Each share
member will receive a weekly bag of fresh produce for 22 weeks, from within a 24
week period from late May to early November.
