Come to the Sonoran Desert and take in the beautiful sunrise and sunsets on
Lucky Nickel Ranch. We are Certified Organic by CCOF and produce Alfalfa,
Bermuda hay This fall 2009 we are planting vegetables that can be purchased
through our CSA or commercially for your restaurant or Cafe. Our actual planting
date is 9/28/2009 contact us for harvest dates.
This year we are working with
the International Rescue Committee IRC.org to assist in the re-home efforts of
refugees from war torn countries. Our group is from Uzbekistan we are working
with their years of farming experience and teaching them how to farm organically
94% of profits from this season will go directly to these farmers.
We are
nestled in the heart of the ever growing area of Pinal County Arizona. We are
conveniently located to hiking at Picacho Peak, Skydiving at Skydive Arizona,
Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch and many other wonderful getaway destinations
located between Phoenix and Tucson.
