Here, people of all backgrounds can learn to become reconnected with the natural
environment, themselves, one another and the Creator who made them all.
Shepherd's Corner at Dominican Acres is a 160 acre greenspace. The property's
diverse range of habitats offers a haven for wildlife and native flora and a
place of peace, natural beauty and spiritual refreshment for harried humans.
At Shepherd's Corner you'll find chemical-free naturally grown gardens,
including the Hope Sprouts Community Garden, flocks of free-range turkeys,
chickens and sheep, a turf labyrinth, greenhouses, beehives, and a system of
walking trails. Shepherd's Corner welcomes volunteers of all ages and abilities,
and hosts public programs as well as custom programs for adult or student
groups. We have a farmer's market of naturally produced vegetables.
