Concentrating on sufficiency, high standards, and permaculture, our family farms
our 20 acre piece of land just south of the Olympic Foothills. We grow a huge
variety of fruits and veggies icluding some very unique types such as, purple
kohlrabi, orange and purple cauliflower, red, yellow and purple beans, rainbow
and nugget carrots, and ground cherries. We have worktrade CSA shares and
internship opportunities. We offer our CSA program to local families, as well
as over 100 employees at Tacoma General, and the Skokomish and Squaxin Tribes.
Check out our annual Harvest Gathering in September. We have a "Pick n' Cook"
Community kitchen, demos, skill sharing, live music and vendors. A fun family
event! To learn more about our CSA program and the cooperative of local farmers
that we have started, check out our info seminar Ap. 26th 3-5pm at the Shelton
