MARGIE’S - WHO WE ARE
Hi! Let me introduce ourselves. We’re Margie and Mark.
Like you, we enjoy quality food that isn’t laden with chemicals, pesticides or
antibiotics. We are dedicated to sustainable agriculture with quality over
quantity. We want to share with you the finest meats and vegetables that we
enjoy.
Our pigs and chickens are raised on pasture where they get many
nutrients naturally. They eat grass, have room to move around, and get lots of
fresh air. They also receive a corn/soybean ration which is grown locally and
supplemented with organic minerals. Unlike commercial livestock, they are not
given animal by-products, or antibiotics.
Our vegetables come from either
organic or untreated seeds. When spraying is necessary, we only use those that
are organically approved. Our livestock provide us with all the natural
fertilizer.
