Our CSA provides sustainably-grown produce, herbs, and eggs, when the season
works with us - apples, pears, and plums.
Girlfarm offers a WWOOFER program,
stipend internships, and private retreats.
The farm holds weekly on farm
work days, and a monthly class schedule.
Girlfarm offers an excellent
opportunity for those who have never tried a CSA to 'get their feet wet' without
feeling overcommitted. The farm is in transition toward becoming a non-profit
teaching center for mind, body, spirit health as part of its goal in
participating in a sustainable local food community.
Another aspect of
Girlfarm is to provide a true link between the small restaurant chef who is
interested in picking their own produce or having us grow for them (this does
not require a large investment so please inquire if this interests you)
Come
visit for the day, stay for a night or two or become a member - we are 45
minutes from the Reno, Nevada Airport and 25-30 minutes from Sparks.
