At Balanced Harvest Farm, located in Carmel, our 16 week CSA
begins in June and
provides a seasonal array of herbs &
vegetables from Arugula to Zucchini.
Everything we sell, we
grow - no exceptions. It’s all locally produced by our
family
and picked fresh daily. Using our 35+ years experience, we
balance the
methods of production to insure the most nutritious
and amazing tasting
vegetables available. We are not certified
organic. However, we use a method
called “best practices”. Best
practices include combining organic, bio-dynamic,
sustainable
and old world farming methods with Integrated Pest Management to
produce the most natural vegetables around. We believe nature
knows best, so we
do not use synthetic chemicals or fertilizers.
Most varieties grown are open
pollinated, heirloom and always
non-GMO. We also offer a 12 week fall/winter
CSA beginning in
October that is based on greens and root crops.
