Founded in 1966 (as The Dekalb Humane Society), PAWS Atlanta has been a safe
haven for abandoned, neglected, abused and owner relinquished dogs and cats. As
the oldest no kill shelter in Greater Atlanta, we put the welfare of our pets
above all else.
We are always in need of caring people who love animals and
want to volunteer in various departments.
