The Cat House is a No-Kill Shelter based in Lincoln, NE, though we have found
wonderful adoptive homes as far way as California and Ohio. We are volunteer-run
& depend solely on donations to support our work. Since 1999 we have found homes
for over 1000 cats & kittens.
Our facility at 1935 Q Street in Lincoln
provides a homelike setting for the cats and we provide EXTENSIVE medical care
for "our" kitties. This year our President was awarded the Red Cross Tribute to
Heroes award for the work we do. We also have cats available through PetsMart on
N. 27th St.
All cats & kittens are spayed/neutered, tested for FeLV and
vaccinated against rabies and distemper/URIs. We also work with feral cats &
have completed many TNR projects - one as a partnership with the City of
Lincoln.
