The mission of Animal Liberties is to:
1. Stimulate dialogue and raise
awareness of contemporary animal rights issues by engaging in research, outreach
and activism on campus and within the local community.
2· Encourage the
McGill community to examine the ethical,
social, and global implications of the
production and consumption of non-human animals.
3· Raise funds for
charities doing grassroots animal protection work and activism.
4·
Provide educational resources and support for vegetarians and vegans on campus.
5· Lobby federal and provincial politicians to improve Canada's animal
welfare law
