The Joshua Tree Tortoise Rescue is a national 501 (3)(c) non-profit
organization. We are a local grassroots organization permitted by the State of
California Department of Fish and Game to rescue and rehabilitate the endangered
California Desert Tortoise. Our mission is dedicated to the survival of the
desert tortoise through education and adoption programs, working closely with
government and military agencies, schools, community groups and local
businesses.
