Citizens for Responsible Animal Shelter Management (CRASM) is a non-profit
watchdog organization dedicated to promoting ethical and accountable management
in municipal animal shelters. CRASM investigates complaints of neglect, abuse,
misconduct, and violations of humane law filed by shelter staff, volunteers and
citizens. CRASM is a resource for local and state humane laws, and actively
promotes proactive animal shelter and animal control legislation.
