Our mission is to make sure every adoptable pet in Rockwall County has a loving
home. We make it happen now by spreading the word about the wonderful pets
available for adoption at the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center. We fund the
treatment of previously unadoptable pets, like heartworm-positive dogs. And
we're working to provide more off-site adoptions to increase the chances that
these worthy pets find a loving home.
We're making it happen in the future by
providing low-cost vouchers to spay and neuter Rockwall County pets. Why
spay/neuter? It saves lives by stopping the breeding cycle. Thousands of
unwanted pets have either died on the streets of Rockwall or have been picked up
by animal services officers. Our spay/neuter program decreases the number of
unwanted pets. That makes our streets and families safer. And it cuts down on
the number of pets captured and housed at the Rockwall Animal Adoption Center at
taxpayer expense.
