Turtle Talk Rescue, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to
the care of abandoned, injured and unwanted turtles and tortoises in our
area. We actively rescue turtles/tortoises left in life threatening situations,
and are committed to helping these animals find permanent homes. We also provide
a safe Sanctuary for those turtles/tortoises that stay at the rescue. These
animals become ambassadors to educate young people about "responsible pet
ownership" through hands-on interaction with the animals. We take our message
to schools, daycares, summer camps and other animal venues, teaching young
people how to care for our animal friends. We believe that with education, our
next generation can stop this cycle of unwanted and abandoned pets, making
better choices and long term commitments.
