Journey's End is a registered non-profit founded in 1974. We provide
lifetime care for over 200 cats, 55 dogs, 4 horses, 3 sheep, and a potbelly pig.
Many have been abused, neglected, or have special needs, such as being
handicapped, blind, or deaf.
Our animal friends are not caged. The dogs
roam the fenced grounds and the Cat House has a screened porch and fenced
exercise area. The horses have a huge pasture to enjoy.
We do not receive
any government funding and rely soley on donations. Probably our largest expense
each month is veterinary care. Much of our labor is provided by volunteers.
