Baltimore Animal Rescue and Care Shelter (BARCS) is a non-profit organization
which took over administration of the Baltimore City animal shelter in 2005.
Since then adoptions have increased over 1300%. We have lots of wonderful cats
and dogs who need new homes. We need volunteers to work care for the animals
and assist with events.
