APRL works to expose animal cruelty and transform public support for animal protection into political and legal change. Our animal cruelty investigation and lawsuit against the "foie gras" industry caused a bill to pass in California banning the production and sale of liver from force fed ducks.

We have also teamed up with the Vegetarian Information Alliance (www.VegAnswers.com) to air "go vegan" commercials on MTV in cities across the U.S.
