Green Market is a newly incorporated, locally owned food cooperative that seeks
to serve Barren and surrounding counties in the important food choices we make
for ourselves and our families.
Natural, locally owned food co-ops are known
as an excellent resource for food-related information - how food production
affects people, farmers, the community and the environment.
Green Market’s
focus is natural, organic whole foods with an emphasis on local. Have you
heard? Local is the New Organic!
If we all made the decision to buy even 10%
of our products from local producers, that would begin to make a huge difference
in our communities!
Green Market is determined to help make a difference! We
are currently seeking community support, as well as a location for our
