Block and Hexter Vacation Center of Associated Camps, Inc. provides recreational
and educational vacations for adults aged 55+. Set on 560 wooded acres with a
60-acre spring-fed lake, the Center is located in the far northeastern corner of
PA. Activities range from fine arts and ceramics to personal training,
aerobics, Yoga, tennis, shuffleboard, boating, fishing, swimming, hiking, dance,
drama, computer instruction, discussions and more. We also feature a
college-level lecture series. The evening are filled with special events and
theme nights, as well as professional entertainment. Our facility features a
recreation hall, dining hall, art studios, a computer lab, tennis court, fitness
center, nature trails, handball court, heated pool and whirlpool and lakeside
pavilion. Guests are housed in air condtioned rooms with private bathrooms set
in nine guest buildings, each with its own private lounge. The Center is
available to host retreats for organizations, synagogues, family events and
school groups.
