The Moby Dick Hotel, an environmental steward and fighter against the use of
pesticides in Wa. state offers a peaceful respite for personal, family or
professional retreats with quiet forest trails winding through the property.
Restorative choices during a stay may include yoga in the Yurt, use of the Sauna
Pavillion overlooking the bay, a stroll through our organic gardens or simply
relaxing with a good book in front of the crackling fire. For the energetic
bicycling, kayaking, running on the 28 miles of ocean beach, birding, hiking at
Ledbetter Point to the North, and around the Lightshouses to the south
government refuges set up for hunting all on the Long Beach Peninsula.And for
history buffs, this is undeniably Lewis and Clark territory. A full and
comforting complimentary breakfasta is offered, and dinners can be arranged. We
have an emphasis on seasonal food with a definite organic slant, and a small
select wine list and full bar.
