Set in an 1870s historic Italianate home, we are located two blocks from
downtown Decorah and the scenic Oneota River Trail. Nestled on a hill surrounded
by towering pines, the Inn provides a beautifully elegant and relaxing getaway
for either pleasure or business. Our eco-friendly Inn features pure, natural and
organic body products, chemical-free cleaning and laundry materials, organic
cotton bedding and no/low VOC finishes. With a new, world-traveled chef in the
kitchen, breakfast features local, seasonal and organic meat, produce and baked
goods. The organic and fair trade coffee is fresh roasted and ground and a
variety of quality teas are offered. Breakfast is served in courses by the inn's
"butler extraordinaire" on the lovely front porch or in the elegant and
comfortable dining room.
