Deer Run B&B is a State of Florida Two Palm Certified Green Lodge. We offer
mostly organic food (USDA labeled), as well as organic & Fair Trade Certified
Coffee, Sugar, Chocolate, Cocoa Powder, Tea, Vanilla and several spices that we
can procure in bulk. We are a vegan inn as well. We grow some tropical fruits on
site in our raised bed organic garden. Deer Run was a winner of the 2009 ISLANDS
Magazine Blue List, which spotlights the best internationally in sustainable
tourism (in 2009, Deer Run was the only winner in the USA). We have implemented
hundreds of changes here to be more sustainable, including but not limited to
chemical free mineral springs pool & hot tub, rain barrels on site, mostly
organic & total vegan food, energy & water conservation products & practices in
place, and much more. Deer Run is located in the middle of the Key Deer Refuge,
in the midst of the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. We are oceanfront on
the Atlantic. We offer our guests a more mindful way to vacation
