The Stone Group is a participant of the Alaska Certified Organic Meats Joint
Venture. The Stone Group is responsible for marketing and sales of the
products.
Alaska Certified Organic Meats harvests about 2,000 head of wild
herford cattle each year from the moslty uninabited volcanic Umnak Island,
Alaska in the Bering Sea.

This unique herd "From the Land That Time
Forgot" has never eaten processed feed. They have never received any growth
hormones or inoculations of any kind. They are truly 100% organic. This is a
herd made stronger by natural selection and NOT by genetic engineering or other
man-made enhancements.
These animals are 100% certified organic by Oregon
Tilth Certified Organic. They are harvested and processed on the island at a
USDA certified plant with full time USDA inspectors.
In 2005, most of our
product will be processed into ground beef patties. The product is delicius!
The packaging is attractive and appropriate for high-end retail stores and
restaurants.
