Join in our mission: to provide eco-conscious, spiritually-based people the
healthiest, highest-quality, holiest kosher meat on Earth. We also want you be
able to eat the most delicious poultry, lamb, beef, bison, goat, elk and even
yak around.
All of our red meat comes from animals that are pasture-raised
on mother’s milk and forage on ranches in the United States. They are handled
gently and are slaughtered using only the humane, upright method endorsed by Dr.
Temple Grandin. All products carrying the EcoGlatt mark are produced under the
strict supervision of Rabbi Harry Zeitlin (Orthodox), and some may carry OU or
comparable commercial hechsher. Meat USDA certified.
EcoGlatt is more than a
company; it is part of a consciousness-in-action movement. We are dedicated to
truth telling and myth-busting. Through education and outreach, we hope to
teach our communities about the kosher meat business, the problems we find and
what we think we should do to remedy them.
