My family was poisoned by Creosote that was in a home we rented in Winchester
VA. We have all sustained life long damage and diseases from the exposure. The
state refuses to condemn this home and the owner plans on renting it to another
family. We contacted the EPA, OSHA, DEQ and numerous other organizations one
would have thought would do something about the situation. My 9 yr old son will
go in for his 9th surgery April 1st, and is covered in white patches where his
skin lost the pigment. We all have neurological, lymphatic, endocrine,
reproductive, rheumatological and numerous other systemic problems. We have
tried to reach out to the comunity to not only ask for help in stopping this
from happening to another family, but to educate. People desercve to know what
is in telephone and utility poles. The "lakes" used to treat these poles, the
leeching of pesticide into the waters local families drink. We have a right to
know before it is too late!
