Prairieland Food Cooperative of Salina, Kansas, is a food co-op that has
supported Salina and the surrounding area since the mid-1970�s. It has now
changed to a market format and is doing business as Prairieland Market. Anyone
can shop at Prairieland Market, but discounts and benefits are available to
members. Prairieland Market is striving to carry as many local, sustainable
products as possible. There is a great selection of local meats that are organic
and/or sustainable. Local breads, honey, and lavender products are also carried.
