We have been certified for seven years, but farming all of our lives. We grow
food grade soybeans and corn, and we have added organic spelt to our rotation.
In 2008, we added organically grown produce to our farm business, which we sell
right out of the garden (2884 Detroit Road, Niles) and at a local farmers'
market. We grow green beans, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage, green peppers, banana
peppers, watermelon, cantaloupe, greens, lettuce, sweet corn, and carrots. Let
us know your interest.
We operate on 200 acres of certified organic land in
Cassoplis and Niles, Michigan. We are currently looking for more land in Cass
and Berrien County to transition to organic. We will also work with other
farmers who are interested in transitioning into an organic farming system.
