We had a surprise finding a small pradise on earth, so nice and clean, the hosts are very frendly and giving great tips what to do or where to go, we loved our stay at La Mucchia and will come back next year. The farmhouse is amazingly restored,the suites are charming and cozy, spotless, furniture are Tuscany antiques,the location is great, near to any important spot in Tuscany and near Umbria and the lake of Trasimeno, where we took a ride on the bikes we rented for only 10 euro for the whole day. Cortona is amazing too, the view from piazza Garibaldi is fantastic, leaving you breathless. The hosts were great with tips and reservations, we loved each moment of our stay and we shall be back.Thank you Uri and Zeev, Thank you La Mucchia casa vacanze, a great spot in Tuscany. My wife and me, arrived late evening from Germany to La Mucchia, the owner was waiting for us, he also directed us to a good pizza place where we really enjoyed our meal. the apartment is luxurious and with good taste, the furniture and the beds are excellent, the view and the pool are great, we enjoyed staying by the pool the next morning having our breakfast there looking at Cortona hill town. it is easy to make day trips to all nice cities around,we visited Montepulciano, Pienza,Assisi,Perugia,Gubbio, Arezzo and Siena, also very nice shopping mall in Valdichiana, we must say that this place is the perfect place to relax and to do everything in easy. we shall be back again in the future with friends. COMMENT from meagan Roda   on Jun 14, 2011    I was a guest last year and this yearagain, can not decribe the great hosts and beautiful place they have, this old building is a dream, it has all one need, and the views towards Cortona, sitting at the pool, looking at Cortona lights and drinking red wine which the owners gave us, this what makes the place so unique and special. thank you guys, I shall be back, every year, promiss!!!
